O Mother Immaculate of the San Damiano Cross, pray and keep us ever close. Here is the famous Holy Cross that is know to have spoken to St. Francis of Assisi in the small abandon church of San Damiano. Our Lord from this Holy Cross told Francis to go and rebuild the Church for it was falling into ruins. Let these same words be an inspiration as we strive to become ever more faithful disciples of Our Lord and Our Lady at the Foot of the Cross.
